8 String Ibanez guitars

What I want Meshuggah to do is learn from Fredrik's 'Sol Niger Within', realize why it's slain everything they've ever done as a band, and why they should look into those avenues of expression as a logical progression for their music.

Catch 33 is interesting in that subtle way, but overall Meshuggah are just sounding more and more stale and boring to me. Call that ignorance on my part, fine, but I found them a lot more listenable in the older days, where the music actually had interesting shit going on.

It is not ignorance, it is just difference in taste my man. I still love it!

Personally I feel the biggest difference is the much much more jazzy drumming of Morgan Ågren, compared to the fairly straightforward (heh) style of Tomas Haake.

Count me out of that, catch 33 is a very necessary record for them and music in general.

You've been counted off the list. Your gonna miss out on the punch and pie and the 24 hour 80's porn fest for the exclusive '95-'98 Meshuggah members. Plus a free set of 9 gauge strings. Tisk Tisk :loco:

We've got hookers and angel dust at '91-'95 party!
Seriously tho, while None and DEI are my favorite Meshuggah records, I still think C33 is a good record regardless of instrument choice. I didn't really feel that way about Nothing.
