Didnt mind the idea, may try it myself down here. We used to have 1 cent pieces years ago, but they have taken the 1s and 2s away, and our smallest currency is a 5 cent piece, tiny little fuckers.
As for "they are only doing their jobs", we have what we call "parking meter inspectors". They are hated with a passion, and well full know what they are entering when applying for the job, so the next time I am lumbered with a $160 fine for parking on my own front lawn, I will be taking 3200 five cent pieces down to the local council.

Seriously - people at these tow/impound places are renowned for being stubborn unrelenting douches, one of the single most annoying things is having your car towed in NYC, cuz you have to go to some sketchy ass place in the Bronx to get it back, and a lot of them double as fucking chop shops - granted, I doubt it's that bad in Hicksville USA where these assholes are from (actually, there's a Hicksville, NY, on Long Island

I thought the video was funny, regardless of what I think about those guys. There is money that needs to be paid and they do pay it... and apparently it's not illegal to use the "smallest" form of currency so... guess they should've thought about that when writing the laws. I always find this type of stuff on the funny-side of things.. dunno, I just have a sense of humor when it comes to fucking with the system as long as it's all legal and by the rules

If that would ruin my day, I'd hate to see what the rest of the week would have in store. I woulda pissed myself laughing, divided the coins down the middle and said, "I'll count this lot while you count that", and if they couldnt do that, then I would of taken a couple of hours to count the lot and at the end, told them that they were 7 cents short! Now that would make my day.
