Ok, so I know that a LOT of people have probably heard the "Inearthed" demo tapes from a long ass time ago.

What I propose is that for a new album, Children of Bodom re-record all of the demo songs from the tapes with the new recording technologies available. For starters, it will be better than the "Are you dead yet" album and it will show people COB's past for those who know nothing about it.

I also find the music in the demos, Especially "Shining" to be some of the best music that the COB members have put out.

As great as Inearthed music is, that's just not going to happen. It's also been asked before countless times, so no point whining about it.

Plus the fact that they hate them.
Besides, the musical difference between the demos and SW is pretty big. At least to me. And even more so in comparison to their current style, so it would be odd to release something so different

The band commented on this years ago. It should be clear if they remade those composions with the sounds they have now it would be out of place. There was an occasion when Alexi considered adding Translucent Image as a bonus track for a Japanese edition of Blooddrunk, which didn't happen. I also asked Henkka about the remake of Talking of the Trees they made for Something Wild back in the day (replacing the female vocals with guitar melody etc) and he sais it was so bad it didn't make it to Something Wild - so it had to be really bad.
