Hey chaps,

Here is one pass of a riff using preamp 3 and then another using preamp 4, then a repeat of the whole thing for good measure.

Do you think that im being anal in that there is interference on preamp 4? Surely all the preamps on the interface should be the same (within reason)?

Confused as to what to do at the moment, it's quite a bug bear - not sure if it is a hardware or software problem right now :)

Your thoughts please peeps! :zombie:

off topic.

Could you post A screen shot of your bus and saffire mixer router setup? Im going crazy getting this thing to work right.

Maybe I'm just deaf but I don't hear any difference really.

Its the background noise that is bothering me Mike, seems very odd!

00:07-00:14 & then round again on the repeat.

Iron Chef- What are you having difficulty with? General routing? I change mine daily depending on what i need so im not sure if it will help you too much?

That's what I thought untill I turned the volume up a bit, it suddenly became easy to notice. I can't be of any help, though. Contact Focusrite and give them a link to the clip.

For anybody reading this in future, I contacted focusrite and they firstly suggested a possible hardware fault. In the most recent few months however, I have built a new PC and am using their latest drivers for windows 7. I have also rerouted all the cables in my room.

The issue seems to have vanished, which is completely bizzarre. Im very glad about it, but it's annoying I never pinned down the cause.
