Actually I'm pretty lucky. The surgicenter is 2 minutes from my house and its done on a outpatient basis so I'll be home the same day. The rehab center is also a couple of minutes away. I'll be working through out it all.

What are you going to do in your downtime? Any hobbies that don't require walking/standing/running?

I'm a tv and movie junkie so I'll be crapped out in front of the tv like usual. Lauren and I are serious art collectors and were supposed to go to a major art fair in NYC this weekend but obvious that's out of the question.

Biggest downer is the thing that started this whole thing in the first place. My big hobby is cooking BBQ. I was in the middle of cooking when I slipped. I won't be able to get near the BBQ for awhile I think.
