Yea, this whole country is one huge garbage dump in this regard.
There's no garbage separation like in most European countries, for instance, so walking by an open trash bin in the street induces vomit from the god awful stench. Of course, everything in the raidus of several feet around it is also covered in trash.
Some beggars to make quick cash actually loot the dumpsters for fruit and vegetables, wipe them clean and then sell them at the market. Disgusting, huh?

Generally, I pick up my dog's shit. However, if I'm walking another person's dog and they take a shit in the middle of the street and nobody is watching, I'll let it slide. I always usually pick up my pup's fecal matter, though, as I wouldn't want somebody having their hound shitting in my yard...
