A Sabbath / Floyd / Beatles / Queen hybrid?

Check this out....the band is named BIGELF & the samples sound great! Two of their albums are available on itunes (if you want to hear more samples).

The band's self-proclaimed sound is a hybrid of Sabbath / Pink Floyd / The Beatles / and Queen. There's also some cool organ (a la Purple/Heep) and mellotron (a la Moody Blues) thrown in for good measure!

I understand the inclination to describe one's sound as a melting pot of classics or influences, but... I find it hard to take a band seriously when they proclaim thesmelves to be a hybrid of 4 of the biggest bands ever which aren't exactly closely related. Just a pet peeve of mine...
