I've been recording and mixing a punk-rock band for a while, and today I just had the need to play something a bit heavier. It turned out interesting I think. Guitars are double-tracked ->revalver mkII + guitarhack's impulse. Drums are EZ and the bass is ... some fender that's normally in standart tuning, hence the tuning issues.
Some parts are not very tight, so sorry about that :)
Here's the mp3

Hey Shadow Walker, its sounding good!
You have done a nice job with EZ on the blast beats which i found to be a bit crappy sounding from stock. The single guitar part sounds a bit closed but when the left side and drums kick back in that is awesome.
Is the bass overdriven btw?
cheers

Thanks! :)
I haven't actually processed the drums in any way - I just selected the basic kit from the DFH add-on and tweaked the levels in the integrated mixer.

I split the bass into 2 tracks - one for the lows, which goes into IK Ampeg and the other one goes to amplitube 2's modern high gain amp.

the blast beats sound a bit weird cause they normally start with bassdrum... snare leading blastbeats are weird sounding :S The guitar is actually pretty real sounding :O I'm amazed. I would have had a totally different kind of guitar sound though. hehe :)

Nice job!
