I was happily downloading The Odyssey today (except for the title track - I want to save something for the release) and after getting a file named 'symphony_x_-_the_odyssey_awakenings(1).mp3' and opening it, it turns out to be some crappy hippity-hop track :o Needless to say the track was swiftly deleted after hearing the intro and the correct file is now being downloaded :)

Do people have no decency nowadays??

Some would say, "serves you right" for being so greedy. ;-)

I find it oddly humorous.

LOL!! Your welcome! Ive been planting fake tracks all over the place! You see I dont mind ppl d/l the CD early, but I find it tacky to keep bragging, and boasting about it on the bands own board.

So I have been planting fakes all over the place. HAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah some dick did that for SDOIT too. His name was Mike something... (jk) ;)

I don't think I was boasting about having the tracks or anything, in fact this is my first post here mentioning it, I just know that in England the release date will be screwed up and I won't be able to get it easily but I will be buying the limited edition!

Anyway DrumRman, I do hope that hippity hop song didn't come from your personal collection. It's unforgiveable, no matter how metal your cat is (I'm from MP's forum too ;))

Well it did give me a good laugh and I've got Awakenings on now and it is awesome :) The jazzy bit reminds me of Mr Rudess.
