A site that keeps up with a all the bands listings and show dates?

After talking with a friend I'm thinking about creating a site that stays up to date on bands listings, specifically metal bands. Since I only know of 10% of semi-well known metal bands (that figure is probably much less ) users would submit bands which are currently not listed and then those will be added to the archive.

Yay or nay to the idea?

Yeah I was going to mention http://www.metal-archives.com, but obviously http://www.blabbermouth.com is also basically the definitive place to go to keep current on daily metal happenings.
