i feel a new poll coming on, if you could only afford one Opeth new cd which would it be 
anyway this could be the turning point in Opeths fame. whats everyones thoughts on that. i think this will push the barrier and loads more fans will like them, and yes that could include hardcore limp bizkit/linkin park/slipknot fans. maybe the opeth should clean their ears out. (cant see that happening though)

I've got news for you buddy -- the mallcore kids are all over Opeth already.
And WTF is this 2 separate albums shit!? Fuck, I'll be nice and assume they're not doing it for the extra cash, but they're fucking doing it to expand their fanbase; light CD for the radiohead pussies and heavy CD for the existing Opeth fans. Fucking hell.

Well I am not saying that I am not willing to pay up to even $60 or $70 for the double disk I am just saying I orginally thought it was being sold togather and one reason I think that it kinda of sucks to sell it separt is that now knowing my luck when it is realsed I wont have enough money for both of them and I would want to get them both at the same time.
and the thing with Radiohead I just bought Amnesiac last Thursday and I am loving the CD and I plan to get more.
here's aother ? for you guys which of these two CD's should I get first Hollenthon - Domus Mundi or Candlemass - Nightfall because I am buying a total of 7 CD and I know for sure I am getting theses ones: Opeth Orchid (Re-Issue) (I all ready have orginal version) King Diamond Abigail, Abigail II, and Them, Katatonia Tonight's Decision, Borknagar Quintessence and one of the other two above which one should I get?

Is it possible that Opeth actually like playing "mellow" music? Maybe they want a softer Opeth album. Just as they always do, it would put their heavier fanbase at risk. I think they like taking risks. Besides, I highly doubt it would be wholly without growls. It would be a bunch of White Clusters instead of Serenity Painted Deaths, you know? You could also say that Akerfledt sold out to the death metal purists when he helped make bloodbath. Don't assume so much, things may not be what you think.

I'd say get Hollenthon, (or Candlemass' Epicus Doomicus Metallicus if you dont already have it).
As for the Orchid: I recommend you don't buy it. You will only listen to it two or three times, so unless you want to keep it as a collector' item, con't bother. If you want to hear the bonus track that badly, download it, and you will see how bad the production is. It really doesn't belong at the end of Orchid at all. Yes, it is written well enough, but the quality...ugh
I have all ready heard the mp3 of Into the frost of winter but the reason I am buying it is for a collecters item and pretty soon I am getting MAYH Re-issue to I all ready have Morningrise re-issue.

Opeth9999: If you haven't noticed, there's also at least two versions of Still Life. CDVILE and CDVILEM. The latter one is the midprice re-issue and has a different picture on the disc. 
Yeah I know about the still life cd to I just dont plan on getting that soon because I plan on waiting in till they get that Re-issue and the Blackwater Park re-issue (the import from Sweden) at The End Records.
