I have no idea what song/ where this piece will ultimately end up... but it surely draws from/ expresses quite the archetype - and is amazingly beautiful. I am having a seriously difficult time in maintaining patience for the new album...
Superb stuff! I actually just heard Theocracy for the first time yesterday and am elated beyond words to have found them. At the same time I am crestfallen that I didn't discover them way back in 2003 when Matt's solo debut released. I've wanted a rock band with this type of message for nearly 20 years now, and never found one even close to being in the same galaxy as Theocracy quality wise. The fact that they are in my favorite genre of Progressive/Power Metal is just icing on the cake. The music is both beautifully arranged and played and the lyrics are some of the most profound since Keith Green was alive.
