AC/DC Plug Me In

Living in Australia I've seen so many bloody AC/DC clips, hours at a time and often week after week, many years ago on our local music tv station - they probably still do it... That really killed it for me for a long time but I've recently found some more love for Acca Dacca. I bet its a great watch for those who havent had similar exposure.

I could see where you guys are burnt out on them as they are a from your part of the world... To me this is a fantastic DVD set.

I'll probably get it, mostly because there's stuff on it from the early Brian Johnson years as well as the Bon stuff. They've released so many live DVDs from the later Brian era, when frankly, he can't sing well anymore. But those first few tours with him (through Flick of the Switch) are underdocumented by my count, so this is a welcome set indeed! (and he still sounded good then...)

You can witness in DVD 2 the deterioration of his voice...
Comes with age...

To those who have this, or have seen it:
How does this compare with "Family Jewels"?

Highway To Hell should be in EVERY rock/metal fan's collection.
NO exceptions! :headbang:

Wal-Mart and a couple other outlets have a bonus disc, it's audio of 4-5 songs from the DVD's nothing big...
Still if you're a collector it's cool to have a little something thrown in at no additional cost...

i was already getting it, i was just wondering what the cd was.

heres something though. instead of dvd's every 2 years why doesn't ac/dc make a new album

I'm a diehard fan of Bon Scott and his ACDC era, but only an average fan of Jonna and his era. I somehow feel he lacks a certain charm and charisma when compared to Bon...

Bon's clips on "Plug Me In" are the reason it's most worth getting for, there's even b/w footage from the very early days, awesome stuff! And the other Bon concerts available (like the one from the Hippodrome) are an awesome watch... Still, can't wait for the new CD to be released! :headbang:

Bought this, and stayed up an hour and a half later than normal last night, watching the first DVD. It rocks, and has TONS of stuff not included on Family Jewels.....Thanks for the rec Sixx!

Ahhhh. That's cool that you liked what you saw. I think between Plug Me In and Jewels you'll have quite the AC/DC DVD arsenal... Sure there are the Live DVD's of which I have two of the three, but those two compilations should be in any fan's collection...

Agreed 100%! I wonder if Let There Be Rock will ever be officially released on DVD. There really needs to be a FULL Bon Scott DVD released, too!(For us old guys!)
