ACCEPT - Wolf's Live Guitar Tone

Yesterday I went to see Accept. I've seen them previously some times with UDO and others without... Wolf always has a killer guitar tone in albums and live, but yesterday it was simply AWESOME.
One of the best live guitar tones I've ever heard.

It was a Engl Invader, but I believe that 80% of the tone is the way he plays, no tapping, no sweep picking, but who cares! He define all the fucking notes and the attack of the pick to the string is unique, beautiful harmonics (pinchs or wahatever you call them), super tight playing... he's been one my my main influences since I was a child, both songwriting and playing.

Agreed. Didn't know they were still touring around, you're a lucky fuck you get to see them pretty often, they never come near here

Edit: Peter Balte's bass tone is also killer, love the bass on Balls to the Wall and the new one is just amazing

Saw em here in the states a few months ago. They were fantastic. The new singer was damn good too.

I saw Accept live in the mid 90s and I gotta say I've never been more impressed with someone's tone. I spoke to Wolf once about it. It was his modded JCM800 (which he sold on ebay few years ago) and a treble booster.

Been to the milan show and yes his tone was ace!!!
Great player btw I really like his playing, it's inspiring!
