Jeff Buckley - Grace
Porcupine Tree - Deadwing and Stupid Dream (any PT really)
King Crimson - Thrak and In The Court Of The Crimson King
Metallica - Ride The Lightening
Pelican - The Fire In Our Throats Will Becon The Thaw
Prong - Rude Awakening
Sepultura - Arise and/or Chaos A.D.
The Devin Townsend Band - Synchestra

just a few I guess...

You listen to Megadeth, Dio, and Metallica, but no Iron Maiden? IMO Iron Maiden slays them all. The albums I'd recommend are...

Iron Maiden- Piece of Mind
Iron Maiden- Somewhere In Time
Iron Maiden- Powerslave
Iron Maiden- The Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

I will try to help you based on your list, but at the same time i will try to recommend stuff that will improve your collection a bit:

Jimi Hendrix- Experience Hendrix: the best of Jimi hendrix(great introduction)
Rush- 2112(not my favourite, but a great intoduction to real good prog rock, as opposite to DT)
King Crimson- Red(complex and psychedelic but all the songs are quite catchy, but not in a conventional way)
Judas Priest- Defenders of the Faith or Painkiller
Tool- Aenima & Lateralus
Corrosion of Conformity- Deliverance
Porcupine Tree- Lightbulb Sun or In Absenthia
Soundgarden- Badmotorfinger
Faith no More- The Real Thing or Angel Dust
Type o Negative- Bloody Kisses
Carcass- Heartwork(for something a bit heavier, but still accessible)
Death- Individual Thought Patterns

It's obvious you enjoy some amount of instrumental insanity from the LTE and DT's.

Gordian Knot - S/T ( Mellow )
Spastic Ink - Ink Complete ( The best technical )
Frank Zappa - Waka/Jawaka ( The best jazzy )
Vitalij Kuprij - Extreme Measures ( Excellent classical stylin)

Other stuff.

Symphony X - The Divine Wings of Tragedy
Sepultura - Beneath The Remains
Opthalamia - Via Dolorosa ( If you ever decide to try black metal, give this a listen, it's very sabbathy in a good way)

Seriously, how long is a piece of string.

Can you be a little more specific, explain what you like about these albums.

Eric Johnson-Ah Via Musicom
Jerry Cantrell-Boggy Depot
Ufo-Lights Out
Porcupine Tree-Fear of A Blank Planet

Btw im the one to talk to bout the virtuoso's

Uh, yes. Opeth

And about 10,000 other bands. check out www.metal-archives.net for tons of bands. Usually pretty objective.

also, I'd recommend this site www.progarchives.com . On this site you can find a lot of prog bands similar to LTE and DT you might like, but (in my opinion) better than both. However, of course be wary of reviews as people are very love/hate about the genre.

I just thought giving you resources would be more productive than a list of bands.

Death, Morbid Angel, Obituary, Atheist, Pestilence, Carcass. All of these have lyrics that are less gory and obscene than CC. Pretty much any albums from these bands.
