ACID BATH -- yep, their own thread...

deadboy is fantastic stuff.

whenever I get into an all out dax mood it gets even rotation with acid bath and agents

Its just a different vibe than the other stuff, dark/ethereal/folky

Yeah, I can tell I am going to like it a lot more with more spins.

Listening to When the Kitestring Pops (or whatever it's called) and I'm liking it better than the first time through some months back. The clean vocals remind me of some group I heard long ago, but I can't place it. Maybe it was them, heh.

Heehee, nice cover art.

Best. Band. EVER. One of the best anyhow. I love how their two albums are completely unique, yet amazing in very different ways. And never once straying from whatever Acid Bath was.

I dismissed them in the '90s and then nearly did once again awhile later, thankfully kept at it. Now I know, and know it well.

My dumb face and profanity's ass fucking slaaaaaaaaay!!!!

I finally took Paegan Terrorism Tactics out of rotation after a hundo listens over the course of two months. WtKSP still has plenty of spins to go, my ears unearth subtleties with every rendezvous.

"Jezebel" makes me want to rip someones fucking throat straight the fuck out.

So much raw fury in this song, I feel invincible.

Top 3 Acid Bath songs after much deliberation.

1. Dr. Seuss Is Dead
2. Jezebel
3. Graveflower

:headbang:

bleed me an ocean
venus blue
finger paintings of the insane
scream of the butterfly
bones of baby dolls
what color is death?
graveflower
dead girl
paegan love song
diäb soule

thats a top 10 maybe

Whenever I make a music compilation Venus Blue and/or Dr. Seuss is Dead inevitably make an appearance.

Pretty much everything else is a very, very close 2nd place. And then Jezebel might be the greatest song ever.

LOL that was pretty funny.

I decided 2 weeks ago that Say Goodnight to the World is the best Dax album since When The Kite String Pops. I'm not sure I could run for office on that claim, but hey, it felt right at the time as I spun that "new" album about 10 times in a row.

EDIT: Nevermind, I already disagree with that assessment. But it's a very solid album worthy of both love and affection. And this is why I'll never be president: too much flip floppery.
