When I saw Will post Al Di MEola (before I clicked the link) I knew right away it would be impressive. Al and acoustic shredding have always been something to cream all over. but WOW!

I think that humbles MANY guitarists. As hard as it is to shred on an electric, I could never do that stuff on acoustic.

Speed and shredding aside though, it's amazing stuff. It's all obviously played by musicians who both know their theory and scales, but also how to play with emotion..... I'm enthralled! fuck the first 11 minutes, i'm watching it all!

Kickass vid man...they've got some great chops. However I'd say that they're using lighter gauge strings...probably 10s or 11s which most people play on electric anyways. Still that's some great music and technique they've got.
