Addictive drums crew v. Assemble! (and share presets)

So I've been messing with AD for a few days now and I absolutely love it. Way better then EZD imo. I can't wait to get DFH2 but until then, this is what I have and I won't be able to afford superior for a bit anyways.

I'm hoping some of the more experienced guys (mainly Fuge) chimes in. I've never actually tried to get good sounds out of drums, just replaced them with good sounding samples. so I'm still trying to defunk my kick and snare.

hmm ..When I DL the Fuge preset (which I still can't get to work) It dl's as "egg.ADPreset.txt" so I assumed removing the .txt would solve the problem, but I can't load it. With Wild Hades DL it does not add the .txt at the end of the file name. It loads just fine. So how do I get the Fuge preset to work? Maybe someone who can DL it without the .txt can zip it for me? Maybe that will work? Pretty Please

Ok, then just save the .txt file and rename the extension to .ADPreset, it should work, since it's just xml code

Thats the 1st thing I tried. No Go. I want Fuge egg.ADPreset. Is this a PC to Mac problem? I don't think that would make a dif.

Sweet got it! I used Firefox to Dl and all is fine. Strange WH worked with Safari. Safari must not like http://ekdavid.uw.hu/. Thanx for your help.

haha See that works on Safari. It's the server Fuge put it on. Safari does not like, but if you look to my post above I solved it by using Firefox. Again, thanx for your help and effort. May the gods of Metal shine upon your production's tonight. lol

Thanks man. I will post up my own settings later on today. Seems like there isn't a large AD crew here.

I wish I could add on more cymbals but I've been using AD + EZdrummer w/ drums from hell addon on another track just because it has a jazillion cymbals which sound not too shabby.

Hmm, I always hear a bunch of drum samples but never any brass. :Smug:
