After a long time Mixing metal Nightwhish Stargazers cover

Greetings, long time since i posted. I've been working for 2 years now composing music for commercials and tv, Pretty much every genre besides metal. Now i've recorded this cover for a friend and after so much time not giving metal the amount of time it deserves i feel kinda insecure with my mixes.

Please any feedback is welcome.

Hi man!
Sounds not bad, really, orchestra sounds pretty cool! But the rest of the mix probably a bit dry for my taste.
The drums sound too mechanically, try to work with dynamics, especially on cymbals, try to make your kick quieter for a couple db and probably add a bit of high end and reverb to your snare.
How much reverb and delay you used for the vocal? I mean it's also sounds dry, in original mix vocal has much more space and not jumps out from mix.

Hey man, sounds good overall, strings sounds cool indeed. May I know what strings sound you're using?

My only critics is kick lil bit too loud and vocal less "in-yr-face"
