I reamped, mixed, mastered and did some occasional arrangement fuckups.

If you think it sounds awesome, then go ahead and tell me in CAPS! If you think it sucks, then please shut up, 'cause you're wrong.

Anyway, nice people, good players, pretty much all you can ask for.

Guitars are reamped through the Fortin Natas -> "Chaosphere" Marshall 4x12 T75 with the "Ola/Ermz" miking. Then I cheated and added another mic. I'm quite happy with the result.

I think the album will be out the 23rd of November. I'll buy it, because I know what to expect.

Now I'm off for a couple of thousand beers.

This tweaking my ears out - the mix is really unnatural wide sounding, definitely the guitars doing it, but they sound almost detached from the mix. Everything has a ton of space but nothing is really gelling, kind of weird.

I absolutely love the drum, vocal, and bass sounds, but those guitars are definitely boosted too much in the high mids.

Dunno if it's these earbuds (at work), but when the guitars are doing the higher melodic stuff, the bottom end disappears big time. I can hear the froggy upper mid grind in the bass, but the guitars seem to be carrying a lot of the low end.

Pretty serious pumping at the 2:48 mark...fucks with my ears.
