You obviously don't realise that you come across as very moronic.. What with incessantly ranting at people over a forum, as if you believe they are interested in hearing you 'pwn' them. As if they look to you as a fountain of knowledge. Come on, how old are you? .. 23... hmm.. With an attention that manages to constantly rove off topic into elitist rants.. Deary me!

Keep to the topic.

Not Unlike The Waves is epic :D

assuming i care what they think? youre assuming i care what you think? what good would calling me "moronic" do then? i obviously havent changed due to what any of you fruits have to say about it...put your feet up, get cozy...its going to be this way.

Does anyone have a spare $2? I've run out of popcorn. And get me some Kit Kats while youre at it!

its like saying dream theater has "death metal influences" because petrucci decides to palm mute a riff with portnoy doing some double bass behind it. fucking ludicrous.

Seems like a pretty fair assumption to me... I have no idea if he is influenced by DM though so no comment.

How are they really unofficial though? They were released at the same time, same record company, it was just more or less a limited edition.
thats what im telling u. they came with the woodenbox, profound lore just sold the rest to make some cash which is fair enough. id just rather have the "original" release of the blue/white which comes with all that shit haughm put in the woodenbox.

See now, whenever i have heard Jazz, i have never heard an influence or technique used in Opeth (bearing in mind ive heard very little jazz 2/3 cds at most) It just sounded like tuneless music, and each musician taking turn to do a solo and use every note imaginable.

so i basically listened to the album over and over today (my job involves driving pretty far distances so ive got nothing better to do) and i've come to this conclusion: this album is good, but it's fucking short. Unlike the Waves is fucking epic indeed, by far one of their best songs.

btw, this thread fucking sucks. the past 3 or 4 pages have been about absolutely nothing. thank you everyone for being a cockass.
