A stupid thing to make a thread of, but I want to know how it is in your countries...
Here in Norway you can't get into the Children of Bodom (AYDY) concert because they surve beer there... I think this sucks because i'm under 18, and really want to se 'em live... :p
soooo... how is this in your countries...?
 
in spain I think it depends on where they play.
this year the age was +16, although they served beer. but it was just because the concert started at 7pm, so it was clearly going to end before midnight. if the concert had been later, ie 10pm, the age would have been +18.
the crew of the disco told me.
ah, and the fact that smoking was forbidden helped to put the age at +16 and not at +18.

buuuuuuuuut.. anyway, everyone was smoking and it was full of under 16, so I don't know why they keep holding these rules if they don't obey them themselves.
about alcoholics... the only guy I saw that was so drunk that he fell on the floor right in front of me was clearly under 16, as many others!
people from bars and discos have a kind of resposibility on -18, so they have to pretend they're babysitting young people who get drunk and smoke anyway.
 
all ages in usa they just put a big X on both of yer hands in marker if your under 18 so they wont serve you beer.

and that pissed me off so much when i was a teenager.... cause it was harder to get beer :lol: I still got it but it was alot of trouble for something so simple
 
:lol: How much does being beer-age rock? I cannot get enough if it. Infact, i postively love watching kids being ID'd and being told to fuck off :D

I been beer age for 4 years and it just doesnt seem to matter anymore if i want beer i go get it..... scarey thing is they always ask for my ID..... alot of the time they think im not 25 they think im like 17 trying to buy it with fake ID..... Thats cool and all lookin that young BUT it pisses me off cause im like ARRGGHH give me my god damn beer bitch! :lol:
 
recently there was a law passed in my state, which made all concerts have an age limit. sucks unless you are into pop or some crap like that, cause the law doesn't apply to something like that

its 19 where I am, and veyr easy to get :) 7 months to go and I'll be of age

Alot of smaller clubs have 19+ shows here, but usually they mark your hands so you dont drink. Larger shows like Molsen Ampetheatre however, they dont mark your hands, and there are so many people they donthave time to check ID..WOO
 
In Holland I never heard about any restrictions during (metal)concerts, the legal drinking age here is 16, but they are going to raise it to 18 because the Netherlands have the most underage drinkers in Europe. (In concerts you wont find any restrictions on alcohol and in some venue's it's allowed by the rules to use weed.)
