AKG d112 on guitar clip

tried to use the d112 which is a base drum mic, i heard it might do good things.. auite happy with the outcome. what do you think?

its crappy rifing with ssd4 stoner groove, nothing special.

Esp Eclipse>Engl Powerball>Legavy 4X12 V30 > D112> Soundcraft Live mixer pre-amps> RME > Reaper.

no post processing.

i find it very dark sounding so you have to move it quite to the center of the cone.. maybe i am doing something wrong with the 57, but i get a much clearer and wider sound with the 112
