Yeah, SubRosa is amazing. This and their previous release are really great, their first album is also good even tho not on par with the newer stuff.

It's pretty much their least interesting imo. The heaviest, but the riffs are pretty typical chuggery.

ETA - HB, that is a reason why I like that album when studying...good background filler

I've begun my MS as well and when grading student's lab reports and doing more menial forms of studying, simple unambitious "neanderthal" metal works wonders. 
I'm not saying you have to be studying to classical music or some shit...I just didn't know Cannibal Corpse appealed to people with IQ's over 100.
