Virgin Killer always kinda underwhelmed me tbh. Rainbow, In Trance, and Taken by Force are fucking awesome though.

So is Blackout btw, hating on 80s Scorpions entirely should be a punishable offense.

Kinda bloated as Chasm albums go, but it peaks so fucking high that I don't care.

What do you consider to be the peaks of the album? I love the opening combo of "From the Curse a Scourge/The Omnipotent Codex", and "Retribution of the Lost Years" and "The Eclipse: Monument to the Empire" are obviously epic. "Fortress" is also one of their better all out aggressive thrashier tracks imo.

Taken By Force is pretty damn overrated around here if you ask me. And it is still a hard rock album first and foremost.

We'll Burn the Sky, Sails of Charon, Your Light, and He's a Woman... are some of their best songs ever. It's not overrated at all.

We'll Burn the Sky is good, i can't remember Sails of Charon ... and no way is Your Light one of their best songs. Album is a solid 3/5

I remember the title track, "He's A Woman - She's A Man," "The Riot Of your Time" and "Born To Touch Your Feelings" as being the best tracks.

The Riot of Your Time isnt bad, but nothing special. What do you guys think about Animal Magnetism? I remember that one kind of sucking. I plan on giving that one a spin sometime soon ... one of the six Scorpions albums i own.

Haha, man, that's a harmless song. And probably their most metal from the 70s. The main riff kills.

I'm not familiar with Animal Magnetism beyond the title track. Cool song.

I just spent most of the day realizing that I kind of don't like Led Zeppelin so I'm using Motley Crue as comfort food. I'd listen to most of their discography with joy, but their debut is a top 10 album of all-time for me, and motherfuck is it so fucking amazing.
