Albums currently kicking your ass

I've been on an obscure heavy metal kick lately and this is probably the favorite I've come across.IMG_1683.JPG

Not sure why this one was completely forgotten (actually it may have been the atrocious album art and rough sound of the original) but fuck its great. Reminds me of so many different bands I like I can't even decide.

go for the remaster. Phenomenal job and the package looks so much better.

Probably the best NM-album and one of the best black/folk/viking-albums ever. The Taste of Victory is my most listened song since 2004 according to last.fm. Such a beast of a song even with the "lol jews did wwII"-lyrics.

You should exploit your position at NASA to get them to play Malmsteen over some mega PA during a launch, something like Far Beyond The Sun. Then get it recorded.

Lol, that'd be funny.

I'm not at NASA anymore though, it was a summer internship. Also I didn't have that kind of access most likely heh. Though I was pretty surprised by what I potentially could get into. Not that I would or did. I did a fair amount of observing and exploring though and saw some interesting things.

Yeah, I would kill to see something that comical on a NASA launch, but, yeah, I didn't think you'd have access to mission control like that or anything. It was a NASA internship, they don't exactly hand those out like wildfire, of course you'll be privy to some ultra-exclusive opportunities. But, no, there's this video, can't remember where, but it's Yngwie now that he's noticeably chubbier, and he's playing these epic, super-melodic bends with this really sexy, smooth vibrato. But he's in his spandex and leather while sitting down, so he looks goofier than all shit given his weight, and he's making these absurd rockstar faces, and wearing his aviators indoors. If you could do video fades between that and a live NASA launch, it'd be comedy gold.

I actually did go on the ground floor of mission control on 3 occasions, and had access to the viewing room anytime day or night. There were all kinds of exclusive things yeah, just walking around there you see things the public never gets to see. There's all kinds of high caliber science talks that never go public or take years to also (the most recent research). I can't even talk about many details of things lol, but it was exciting stuff. And yeah Yngwie is a comedy goldmine, though as fakely badass as he acts and dresses... he really IS that badass of a musician, so I'll let him do it heh.
