First listen. Why is this considered more accessible than their first two albums? One song in and it already sounds like nothing I've heard in metal. These guys were so fucking weird and ahead of their time.

I wish they had continued the concept and recorded sequel albums about other Gods. I believe the next was to be Mars or Zeus.

Great album, especially in the guitar solo department. Still my favourite Helloween album. (OK, I stopped buying their albums after "KOTSK pt. 2".) Does anyone else think that the part of "Gorgar" from 0:25 to 0:35 strongly reminds of Metallica's "Ride the Lightning"? Edit: And at about 2:42 in the same song they cite a part from Edvard Grieg's "Hall of the Mountain King" for about 15 seconds.

reminds me too often on Sadus! Maybe some Morbid angel influence too but they definitly have a style of their own also lyric wise.
This album is a beast.
