This kicked my ass on the way to work this morning. Definitely needed a wake up call as I’ve had about 3 hours sleep. Still uncompromisingly vicious nearly 30 years later.

Here’s my two albums of the year so far



This is as close to NWOBHM as any album I’ve ever heard. Pure hard rocking heavy metal energy and sounds like it’s from 1983.



And this one reminds me of when death metal was new and exciting to me. Weird samples/lyrics, slow lurching doom sections, fast grinding bits. Reminds me of when I discovered Razorback records in high school man. Pure nostalgia candy.

Ok I'm definitely warming up to this one. It starts off quite strong and remains fairly strong, but I really don't like Sword of Machiavelli and a few of the other songs later in the album. Gonna keep listening to it.
