I had this one on tape back in the mists of time... Bought the remastered cd a couple a weeks ago...



Had totally forgotten how great & groovy this is - surely one of the best live albums of all time. This rocks - if you dig hardrock at all, you owe it to yourself to check this out...

Spastic Ink - Ink Compatible

This is extremely good prog/tech metal. Jason McMaster fits in well on the songs where he does vox and makes me want to explore Watchtower more. I didn't really like Dan Gildenlow on his parts, but maybe he's better in PoS

Pete Perez is a fucking monster on the bass.

Yeah, I think Ink Complete is probably better, too. Tbh the samples on Ink Compatible just ruin it for me, although the Blotted Science album and Ron's solo album rank higher with me than either of those.

Dark Lunacy - Forget.Me.Not
Nice mix of Death, Gothic and Doom Metal. Very melancholic, with classical music unfluences. Reminds me a bit of the band Haggard... I never would have expected such great music behind this... "creative" cover.
