Early Deicide aint half bad, but they do not measure up to the other 3 Florida Death Metal groups.

They're actually pretty up there for me. I honestly prefer Deicide's debut to anything by Obituary or Death (Altars of Madness, however, takes the cake for best Florida death metal album imo).

I see. Deicide were pretty tight-sounding in their earlier albums. They used to be honed and intense but I dont think it comes close to Slowly We Rot or Leprosy. Yeah, Altars of Madness is a great album and I think it is their best.

I only heard "Greeting Immortality" from that band but its a great song.

I listen to a couple of songs from the albums by Intestine Baalism and I like this shit.

I'm surprised at how much I like this album. I usually can't stand anything by Xasthur but I'm digging this one a lot.

That is a fucking awesome album, seriously. It's definitely my favorite by him. Really cool, creepy, morbid, yet epic atmosphere.
