It's just so crunchy and thick sounding. They're like a black metal earthquake. I have their album Dammerung Der Szenarien as well, and it is breathtaking.

Yeah man, they're pretty awesome. If they're the new standard, I'm psyched for the coming decade in tech death. Necrophagist/Origin/Severed Savior shyt is getting old.

I actually just listened to that Anata album for the first time last night because someone recommended it to me. Good shit, and i am extremely picky w/ Tech Death.

My favorite of theirs is Under a Stone With No Inscription.

Their bassist reminds me of Collin Marston.

I know. Anata are such a refreshing, clever act and they're one of the few tech bands I listen on a casual basis.

I hear a new album is coming out this year. So excited.

Keep on waiting man. It's been done for 2 years already and Earache is screwing them over.
