+1. I hated it to but I watched some kind of monster for the first time recently and gave it another chance. Some pretty catchy, heavy stuff, but again just not that great in comparison, especially up against DM.

Misery's Omen-Hope Dies,this must be one of the best ever Metal releases from Australia,everything about this album is perfect!!the fretless bass work,the drums,guitars,the flow of the album,everything...I have been after this album for a couple of years and was going through the Shadow Kingdom catalogue and lo and behold,seriously,read some of the reviews this album receives,it's all true,an unbelieveable triumph of Metal...words are'nt enough to describe this one.If someone was to question me on the relevancy of modern Black metal or Metal in general and needed proof,this would probably be THE album i would give them,it's THAT all encompassing.

I've wanted to hear this ever since I came across the artwork when scouring m-a on one of my many old school death metal binges, but I never could find a copy, and in the past few years I'd just forgotten about its existence entirely. Good to finally hear it, love the production.
