Yes and no. The instrumental are dull and there's really not any part to be rememberable but I really like the new vocals.

This is probably my favorite DM release of this year.
Yeah it's a really great album but I'll to say that this is my favorite DM this year.
And the album art is freaking awzume.

Yeah, the new Suffocation was nice but I still need to spin it a few more times to see how it holds and to form an opinon on it.
Both Gorguts' and Ulcerate's latest started good for me but on repeat listens they've become a chore to sit through; specially Gorguts. Doesn't help that they are both rather long by DM standards.

Yeah, that's what I'd consider the ideal length of a death metal album. I feel different when it comes to death doom albums tho, I think the difference in tempo between it and death metal (including tech, melodic and brutal) and a more marked focus on creating atmosphere leads to songs need more time to convey their ideas.
Yeah that's also how I feel about them. I even liked Handful of Stars quite a bit. If I had to pick a favorite though, I'd have to go with the consensus, and pick one of Autumn Aurora or Blood in our Wells.
