Yea, I remember listening to them one time a long time ago and thinking it was a sloppy mess and rather weak speed metal. I never really felt a reason to go back and check out a band I didnt enjoy. Though a friend just told me to check out their new album, so I said fuck it. I thought it sucked, but I still decided to revisit their classics since they will be playing at MDF, and thought maybe I should give them another try. Good thing I did, I guess ive been majorly missing out after all.

Definitely been missing out, people might sneer at me for this but At War With Satan is one of my favourite Metal albums ever.

Im definitely going to check out more of their stuff. Ive also heard Black Metal, which was also pretty good, and the new one, which I didnt like at all. I know they have a lot in between too, any other recs besides At War With Satan?

I'm a tad narrow-minded, personally I'd recommend the first four albums, after that you'd be best served asking around, I don't know shit about what's good after Possessed.

It looks like they are releasing the new one on a 12" LP, but it really is more of an EP lengthwise.

Eaten Back To Life and Scream Bloody Gore actually, I'm no longer a Cannibal Corpse fan and haven't been for awhile but I still like that album.
