Wow. Dear god. I listened to their self titled release earlier this morning and was impressed. Ok, female fronted, ok, unique sound, ok, very enjoyable. Then I threw this on next and wasn't ready. Beautiful album, totally unique, haunting, poetic, gentle, gorgeous. This band is great.

Aeternus - Beyond the Wandering Moon

This album takes a while to fully accustom yourself too I think, because it's so dense. This integrates folk inspired melodies extremely well and Ares' growls are some of the best ever. "Sworn Revenge" is probably the best track here.

I actually remember listening to this a lot when Wrath of the Lich King first came out and I was levelling in Howling Fjord.

I just love how over the top this album is, from the music to the lyrics and the doomsday feel. Dripping with cheese but getting away with it because the atmosphere is awsome. Candlemass fans should like.

Spectral Lore - Gnosis [EP] Like this a lot, even though i miss the vocals.

Obscura - Akroasis. My god this album is phenomenal. Been spinning it almost every day since it came out. Did not disappoint.

This album is so fucking good. There really isn't anything else that sounds quite like it. I think I do like the follow up maybe just a bit more, not that it's a competition; they are both fantastic albums
