I go back to this more than any other DT album and I like albums like Falling Into Infinity

But I already described how it goes far beyond the neoclassical melodies/trills. If that's all it took, I'd call Punishment for Decadence a power metal album too (which it clearly isn't).

If you think it doesn't contain enough thrash elements to be called thrash then by all means call it a power metal album. The rest of the world can keep calling it a thrash album.

This is a pretty incredible tech thrash album for 1995 and would be likely to make my top ten even if it were released in most other years. Quite a bit of neoclassical in this with semi harsh vocals and solid riffage
