You could have said any other person, but Dave Mustaine???? The dude that tours with 4 bands and hangs out with noone and thinks of himself as a kind of god-sent thrash metal saver??? Janne may have just called us idiots, ok, but still Bodom have taken and still take waaaaaaaaaay more care of their fans and have a way more down to earth attitude on and off stage than Mustain has ever done and will ever do. Not coming to your own forum where 80% of your so-called fans keep complaining about what you do nowadays, talking shit about you and your abilities and acting as if they were your bosses or something seems quite reasonable to me. There was a time (look back for Janne's 2003-2004 posts and replies from the users) when people would act reasonably and Janne would come here happy and answer questions when he could, but if 90% of what he'll get is bullshit I don't see why he would want to come.
Don't think of this as a personal attack or something, I think you're a cool user and you're not the kind of dude that creates shitstorms and makes stupid posts, but putting Mustaine as an example of dealin with the fans compared to Bodom... Like if you compared Steve Vai and Kerry King's playing, you're a guitar player so you get what I mean.

It's become mainstream to say "old cob rules, new cob sucks".
Personally I like the old COB better because that is my favourite genre of metal. The new stuff is kickass, just another style of playing.
I mean, who would like if COB made 6 Hatbreeders?

Those who dont take this direction are this direction: I'm a bigger fan, i have all records, i saw them in 1998, i have HIS guitar, I think I have to rate other users posts and bla bla threads. Oh and i forgot those random poll threads I never take a look in so i cant talk about them.
The funny thing is when someone created a "Please play in Hawai" thing. the first replies are the usual rape. Then either Janne or more likely K-man posted, that they would like to play shows in this country. and everyone out of a sudden only posts nice things in this thread.
I don't actually want to be Alexi, but I am a huge fan of the band, and, yes, Alexi in particular - so what? In my opinion, COB are a fucking kickass band; I''m happy to buy their records, go to as many of their shows as possible and generally support them, including being a member of their forum - if that makes me a fangirl, I've got no problem with that!
