Thanks to some so-called fanboys, fangirls here, we have the latest news, articles, interviews, reviews, tips etc... so i wont complain and i thank them !

No. I respect Alexi as a song writer and guitarist but I don't like his style. Nothing against the man, but I'd never wear something he does to appear like him. I'd never have his face in my avatar like all his fans do. Of course I remember the first time Alexi laid his eyes on me and it was special, but I like guys like Chuck Schuldiner way more in that respect. Alexi tries too much pulling off his "role", like some musicians can act emo to get teenagers buy their records. I'm here for the music.

I said 'so-called' fanboys/fangirls... which means that i dont get the definition of a fanboy/fangirl, but if someone is called a fanboy because he kind of wants to collect everything about a band then its fine to me.

But two of those fangirls listed eralier provide quite big part of magazine scans, interview translations etc. You don't need to be fangirl/boy to do those but I haven't seen that much contribution form the others. But whatever, I don't need to share my stuff here

Well if i HAD magazines with something interesting for COB fans and someone asked me to scan it I would do it. Like you said you don't have to be a fanboy to do such things.
I don't get it. People who buy magazines and stuff cleverer than the rest(=fools). And what's so sutpid about to share some stuff with these fools? They can post scans and stuff and anybody who likes it will be glad. I don't think anybody who doens't care about fan-stuff wouldn't flame the one who posted some and even these fools wouldn't do anything.

Fanboy/girls wants to share new information more. Regular fans just wait until something pops up so they can post it. Fanboys/girls LOOK for this stuff.

Very well put, sleeper. In elitist metal circles liking the band or idolizing Alexi is a severe crime. On this messageboard, unlike many older regulars make it seem like, it is not. Everyone should try to remember this. This is a fan forum and you will meet some of the most dedicated and enthusiastic fans of the band here. Of course, this forum isn't only for the 'fanboys' but critics and such are welcome too. However, no one is allowed to ruin the fun from the others.
This message isn't directed directly to Undefined or Noel but is more like a general observation. I merely wanted to encourage all the regulars who were put down in the previous posts to keep on posting and contributing stuff with the same dedication as you have to date. You are doing a huge favour for the COB fan community and are the people who keep this place alive!

Shit, that's the best definition I've ever heard so far so thumbs up!
But don't forget that you are also a fanboi when your favourite song/solo/album is from Bodom or you own a Alexi guitar.
5 of my top ten favourit solos are from Alexi so I think I'm an fanboi too.
Whatever... God save the Fanbois/girls. What should we do without Zarok or Shadeg and their Scythes of Bodom page including the murder archives?
