Holy fuck. Co-operation with Tägtgren is what I was hoping for. North America again, but since Alexi's with Hypocrisy it's an awesome deal. He should get some good inspiration from the feeling of Hypocrisy's music just before writing the next COB album! Finally some good news!

I was hoping all along Alexi should listen to some Hypocrisy before writing the new Bodom shit (instead of LoG, Slayer etc.) and then team up even closer with Tägtgren in the process of designing the new album. Peter really has done some amazing keyboard wizardry for Pain and that's what COB desperately needs at the moment.

One thing leaves me amused. Now that this tour deal is done, Alexi has 2 months less to make the COB album. This has'to result in them indeed designing riff ideas and melody ideas together.

Me too,honestly.Hypocrisy is one of my fav death metal bands of all time and I was kinda disappointed when I heard that Hypocrisy will support Ensiferium,but this could influence Alexi in a good way.

For sure Alexi isn't sacrificing 2 months of writing time just for the sake of having an exciting tour with lots of heavy drinking, playing songs he won't even need to practise. They're definitely about to check on some ideas, Alexi jamming riffs while Peter throws in somethings with the keyboard. I'm quite convinced he had something to do with the keyboard sounds of Blooddrunk, I just can't believe they'd come from Janne. But more prominent USE of synths to create feel would be more than welcome. Let's see what comes out. Finally I see hope.

wow you're all freaking out just a bit too much, it's cool that they're touring together but I doubt alexi and him are going to throw around ideas for the new cob album, if anything just being around that style will push him a little bit in that direction which is cool and happens to everyone. It's pretty obvious they needed a guitar player and since him and Alexi are friends he's doing it.

Conti, if your band is opening you should film the hypocrisy set and post it here for us! since you're in a band i doubt they'll give a fuck if you're on the side of the stage filming or something, you're definitely lucky!

I mean yea, COB music is like pop compared to Hypocrisy's but that dones't mean Alexi's actually gonna change Hypocrisy's sound .

Most of the fans are clearly thinking Alexi is pop crap and hope he doesn't steal the show or wear make-up, and fear some fans will show up only to see Alexi. It's weird, I thought they'd feel honoured. I must say the Hypocrisy fans are a bit delusionate to think Hypocrisy is true and COB is just pop shit. If I was a critic and wanted to say something negative, Hypocrisy is pretty boring, mid tempo and only serves catchy things that don't need to grow on you but instead fade away. Most of the DM fans dont like COB and most of the Hypocrisy fans dont wanna see Alexi on Hypocrisy show.

No offence but Hypocrisy did much more for DM and metal in general than COB.
And im saying this as someone who listens or used to listen to both bands.
