Alexi Laiho to tour with Hypocrisy

COB should learn from the feeling Hypocrisy has in a lot of their songs.

No offence but Hypocrisy did much more for DM and metal in general than COB.

So did the jungle boys with their bongos who invented music. I don't care if Will Smith fills in for Roope if he's a guitar master. So I don't get this "Alexi is bad for Hypocrisy's reputation." He's outright the best guy they could get. Anyone could play that stuff, but I see this as an exciting and spicy team up. This attitude just proves many DM fans are poseurs.

I hope Alexi does some improvisation which would surprise the Hypo fans. As for the crowd, I do understand you don't want kids in the front row of a metal concert, but just ignore them. Personally I almost felt embarrased on my last 2 COB gigs as the crowd was mainly children. Felt like a fucking perv in a kindergarten. At least I could see.

if he's opening the show then he's already there and getting in for free and usually bands that are playing on a show have more privileges so he could film the set from the side of the stage on a real camera while other people couldn't . nice try though. I'll be going to the SF show for sure to catch this, I like the bands but I wasn't sure if i wanted to go before but since this is so unique i just have to.

It doesn't matter if he can film from somewhere where people usually couldnt film.
Maybe it's just me, but when I'm watching a gig I'm focusing on the Band and the music not on a camera which films a gig in horrible quality. It's a nice idea of sharing but I don't go to gigs to film, if other people do that, that's cool but you cant get a decent film if you're freakin out to the music.
And just standing in the back filming that whole gigis just..

Well, in one of the recent interviews they said to expect the new album early 2011 or so and studio May or summer 2010, so he'll still have time to write stuff.
