BraveWords.com sources say that while guitarist Mikael Hedlund and drummer Horgh (also of IMMORTAL fame) actually made it through immigration and have been sitting idle in the US for the better part of two weeks, the inability of HYPOCRISY frontman/founder Peter Tägtgren to clear up the fiasco in a timely manner has resulted in Hypocrisy dropping off all remaining dates. The two orphaned musicians have returned home. Whether any Hypocrisy North American dates will eventually take place remains up in the air at this point

That's it for the new COB album. The hope I had was with Alexi being inspired by Hypocrisy. The new album will probably sound like Nickelback.

This is like the greatest farce ever? A misunderstanding in the spelling of the name "Peter" results in one of the most legendary death metal tours ever not happening. Someone's digging blood from the nose big time!! Why can't somebody call them and say listen motherfucker the guy is named Peter and there's twenty hundred thousand anxious metal fans waiting for a motherfucking show to start so WTF are you up to!

I'm not scared, it just bores me when he goes like that. I enjoy his posts when he stays calm and throws in cool ideas, but when he goes all melodramatic I tend to skip. I was just warning in case someone goes like I do

Well do I comment on Rocket Science? Do I comment on cooking risottos?
I can't because I dont know anything about it.
Of course it's bad for the people who bought a ticket but remember the majority here doesn't know anything. Maybe the Band itself misspelled his name, or the handwriting was hard to read. There could be a terrorist named like the misspelled name or someone with aids. There's also the possibility that they did application form for the visa too late.

Everyone seems to know it was only the US government's fault.

If there was an error in the name, the US embassy had nothing to do with it because we have to fill the form on the internet, there's no handwriting. And they only see, read and print what we typed. At least we can see there's no priviledges, it's just that they could have speed up the process a bit. But for sure we cannot know anything.
