Just wonderin what you guys think of this fellow... i think he is the best "new" metal guitarist ive seen in a long time, he may have a reputation as a crazy guy who could care less about his band to some, but he invests an immense amount of time into writing, and is quite knowledgable about music theory, awsome player!!

Alexi is one of my favorite newer guys as well. i've also had the pleasure of making friends with him and he is a very nice guy. he's so good that i was surprised to hear him say that i was one of his influences. cheers Alexi!

I have just recently beginig to listen to CoB and their great.

Has anyone else noticed that on the song Bodom after midnight on "follow the reaper" the soundtrack from "the rock" is played by lead guitar and keyboard

All that needs to be said about Alexi Laiho is that the man is more than capable of writing knuckle-busting riffs and melodies. I'm amazed he can sing and play half that stuff at the same time.
