WTF? JCM 800 is NOT a metal amp? And what is it then, a jazz amp? It has good distortion, and KK signature even more,
It doesn't have that much distortion, it has enough for the 80's metal, but if you want to play something like bodom you need some boost.

Well, I've played with a normal JCM 800 and it has enough distortion for me, So the KK with the ''The Beast'' extra add is bound to be br00tal for my taste. E.g. I don't like Peavey's 6505 because it has too much distortion for me.
I have not tried the autowah, I just leave the pedal out of range so anyone touches it and I leave it in a position that it gives a really small amount of wah effect.

All wah is is a midboost controlled by a pedal. His gainboost has a variable mid switch booster (if he still uses it with the blackout, I don't know if its compatible with actives like the pa2 is). I do the same thing with my MXR 10 band eq before distortion.
As far as whether or not a Dime or a Zakk wah will make you sound more like Alexi and less like a "NU*B" just run your powersound humbuckers into a 10 dollar Crate practice amp and you'll sound just like him. You're obviously tone-retarded if you think you'll get any kind of decent sound out of just pedals. You probably also suck ass at guitar because you're tone retarded. Your comments have shown us that in addition to all that you're mentally retarded too. Give up playing guitar, put on more eyeliner, and go to a Slipknot concert or something.

^ Calm down or GTFO. Not everyone is a pro at tone, but in this board there's more than one player that can crush you tone-wise and you won't see them complaining and being such an asshole as you, so either calm down and give some advice or GTFO. Having Jan 04 as join date doesn't make you better.
We need to ban 14 year old NU*Bs like the guy who started this thread. People are always asking stupid questions like what pedals will give them a $3000 tube setup + studio magic tone. It sickens me. I'm not a "Tone Pro", but I realize that this kid is going to fail at coming anywhere near Alexi's tone, and the the choice of wahs won't matter because his setup will sound so bad anyways. It's not like this kid only asked one stupid question either. Pretty much all of his posts are filled with impossible to understand English and fanboyish tardassedness. And yes, because I joined in 2004 I remember a time before this board was full of 14 year olds and there was some level of intelligence in most posts and not "What lipstick does Alexi wear when he kisses Janne?" or some shit. If we insulted these fanboys enough they would leave.
