Alice in Chains "Would?" Opeth cover a diff song by them?

Alice in Chains is one of my favorite bands of all time. Glad to hear Mike so that he like them a lot on the TALKING METAL Interview.

I think when it comes to lyrical content WOULD? is the perfect song for Opeth to cover, seeing as how most of Alice In Chains songs focus on Drugs and Would? doesn't

But what other songs do you think would be cool for Opeth to cover by alice in chains?

I'd say

Down In A hole
Any of their Acoustic songs (Got me wrong, brother, nutshell, etc.)
Heaven Beside you would be cool

I hope that the music is change up quite a bit on Would? though, a more elaborate solo would rock!!

AIC has been one of my favourite bands for a really long time, and i think that many Of their songs could easily be covered by Opeth.

My choices are:

On the soft side:

Love the idea of Them Bones.....

"Some say we're born into the grave" is such a great line...could be in an Opeth song easily.

Them Bones wouldn't work very well i think, mainly because of Mike's range. But Sea of Sorrow would own guys, it's a big potential cover.

On another note...Youtube the video and imagine mikes warm guitar tone, Fred filling out the sound, Mike and Per doing the harmony, Axe and Bass bringing the low end... would be pretty fucking sweet.... and Mike's in the video from 1:25 - 1:26 ffs.
