All real drums mixed with SSL

If the snare hits are copy + paste, it's not real drums. :)

Snare is a little thin, & some of the low toms sound a bit scooped, but you're on your way.

Nothing like taking EZD and moving the hits ever so slightly then trying to say its a real drummer ..... LOLZZZZZ!!

NS .... Dude ... just go away. Seriously,

NO! better yet, just stop fucking posting and go read the forum for a few days.

You guys are seriously being cocks.

I literally do not own EZ drummer. I used to, but I got rid of it.

I used REAL drums with SSL bundle... I don't know why that's so fucking hard to believe. Some of you guys need to stop assuming stuff and quit acting like you absolutely know what you're hearing 100% of the time, because it's bullshit. Some of you do, but in this case, in my shoes you look like jerks.

I think you are just trying to test the people here on this forum to see if they actually do hear stuff 100% correctly or not because you are pissed that you can't tell the difference between a JCM800 and a Triple Recto while others can. Now that they've seen through this you're aggro-defensive as a last resort to defend your honor and dignity.

Are you seriously saying you miced up a drumkit and recorded a real drummer playing on real drums?

Just so you know I've got some pretty good ears. Your JCM/recto comment was unnecessary.
And yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. And in a lot of spots I did drum replacement with my own tones from this clip.

If you guys want I can tell you the exact plugins I'm using.

I work hours upon hours to get what I like, just like everybody else.

I really was about to laugh until you specified "SSL bundle"

as for the snare ... I'm not familiar enough with EZdrummer snare sound (yes, I do own it) to call you out on it ... I also only ever use the rock kit and never for actual recording, just for writing so that may be why

so I'll stay neutral and say, try adding a 1.5 - 2 db boost, not too wide at around 125 - 150 to see if that fattens the snare up a bit .... cause it IS quite thin sounding. Hard to tell for sure cause there's no music

Thanks for the tip. I'll post a clip with instruments soon.

I'm not wading in on this shitstorm btw, I've got nothing to back it up with.

Admittedly, before I scrolled down, I thought it was the Superior Drummer Ayotte Snare. IF you did record that, and I'm not saying you didn't, you've pretty much nailed that snare bang on.

What was your processing chain/input for that setup? Mic, snare, head etc :)

I'm still confused as to wether you did record a real drummer playing on real drums or not. I've lost track of wth it is that you're trying to accomplish here. Are you now saying you programmed the drums but replaced the sound with samples you have recorded yourself in the past?

In any case, this doesn't seem to be REAL drums. Samples are real drums too but when we say real around this forum we usually mean it was actually played... for real.

So you really want us to believe a drummer played that?
