I'll be seeing the boys for the 3rd time in Buffalo, NY on November 4th at the Showplace Theatre. I saw them the first 2 times in Rochester, NY. The Rochester show this summer was one of the the lucky ones to get a full setlist and the first live performance of The Grand Conjuration along with a great performance of Godhead's Lament.
Looks like im going to Lawerence, KS.
They're playing at a small venue though.. with little to no stage, so that should be cool.

The tour starts in my hometown. Cool. Hopefully I can make it to the CA show as well. I skipped SOTU for obvious reasons.

Pelican is a good choice to open for Opeth. More artsy than fucking Devildriver, thats for sure.

Pelican is like that Neurosis/Isis/Cult of Luna drone metal. They're all instrumental, pretty ambient. cool shit. but I'll be at the 11/07 show in Winston-Salem, so Nevermore it is - who i'd rather see anyway. I hope their singer is sober enough to remember the words....

Warrell Dane & Nevermore rule. I've been following Warrell since Sanctuary days. Jeff Loomis is also an amazing guitarist.
