i wonder that as well... it must have been some really hard insult to make zidane react that way, i would have never ever expected such a behaviour from him.
but what he did was unacceptable, regardless of what materazzi might have said.

anyway i love football as well and i definitely don't like these unsporty acts, both verbal and physical ones.

after the 2000 finals... it was our turn now

Seriously...lip-reading specialists said that idiot Materazzi called Zidane a son of a bitch and also a ''terrorist''...what a dumb shit...i saw it in a brazilian tv show called ''fantastico'' yesterday. Materazzi is a very violent player, go to youtube and type his name there you will find a video of him performing a flying kick on shevshenko and some other atrocities, he deserved the headbutt...i wasn't expecting something like this from a guy like Zidane...but at least Zidane won the ''best player'' Award...
