Hi!

The Windows XP version of Altiverb, scheduled for end of March, has
been announced today.

You can read the full story at:

http://www.audioease.com/Pages/Altiverb/AltiverbXP.html

The new version will be available before March 31 2006 as a free
download for registered Altiverb 5 users.
Altiverb 5 for Windows XP will be shown at the Frankfurter Messe in
Hall 5.1 - stand d98b.

AFAIK this is the best reverb out there, the only reason I still have a Mac G4.

Been hearing about this verb for a while now.. Kenny raves about it as well, i believe..

Cool... been looking for a really good reverb plugin.. this might be it then.. what price? does anyone know?

Fun fact: the company that's responsible for Altiverb is co-owned by one of my teachers at the Music Technology School I study at.

Ummm...that was not fun:rolleyes:

$595.. But it is protected by a challenge/response authorization so the poor bastards overhere will come to enjoy it too I guess..

(I'm a registered user btw :saint: )

Great plugin, I love it. I wonder if my license will work on PC, would be kind of groovy to run my stupid pizza box PC as a reverb unit over SPDIF to my Mac or something.

Can be done btw.

Hehe.. end of april, and still no sign of altiverb for XP anywhere now..

I really, really want to stress test this puppy for my drums.. but it's not released yet...

There seems to be a demo on their page, but it's not specific at all if it's for XP or MAC..
Im assuming MAC.. so i wont download it.
