Who said Nightwish was not in the US consciousness? During their preview of the Jets game tonight, they played "Amaranth" during the opening segment featuring Brett Favre.

Yeah, they played the instrumental version of "Amaranth" during a football video montage last year---ironically, the same day I was going to see Nightwish.
Someone in the music department at CBS is definitely a Nightwish fan.

What are you talking about? If it was commercial, they would be on radio. And, why do you fault the gang for making a living? The difference is Tuomas still cares about his art, unlike other "commercial" bands, *cough*metallica*cough*.
