Ambivalent- Best Guitar Solo from Loomis?

When I first heard it, I definitely thought so. I'd say it's tied with This Godless Endeavor and Final Product
Yeah. When I'm not joking I'd say TGE is the best. It's just so fucking cool!

for shreddiness, probably since its just no holes barred shredding for like a minute and nothing else... for technicality, its engines of hate since it has everything. A bit tapping, a lot of sweeps, and a bunch of other stuff. Not to mention its improv'd.

Yeah, the Ambivilant solo is very... Malmsteen-esque.. just when you think it's over, he starts doing some bending thirds (not sure what the technical name for em is) and extends it over the next riff and engages in some serious shred. Fantastic solo.

On a technical scale I'd say Engines of Hate and Never Purify are definitely up there with it.

That's what I love about Enemies of Reality. The solos are just no-holds-barred shred that sounds totally improvised. They're very raw and feel like so much frustration is being released by just them being played.

Personally I like a lot the solo in The Passenger...not as technical, but has like a sad felling thing going on

I love the solo in "Tomorrow Turned Into Yesterday"....really fits the song and shows some emotion...doesn't cover the ground that "Ambivalent" does but impresses me just the same.
